THE PROJECT

An industrial subcontractor, complete on a single page.

Emile Affolter SA has practised precision turning in Moutier since 1962: turning, rolling, assembling mobiles and, more recently, gear cutting, for sectors that tolerate no approximation, from watchmaking to defence.

The site is a single scrolling page, with no menu tree to explore: the pitch, the sectors, the four-step know-how, the numbers to back it up, then contact, in the order an industrial buyer asks these questions.

01 · THE SECTORS

Six sectors that leave no room for approximation.

The same machines produce for general mechanics, watchmaking, aerospace, automotive, hydraulics and defence. Each sector sets its own tolerances; the site lists them side by side, with no dedicated subpage, so a buyer can place the company at a glance.

  • Six sectors listed, from general mechanics to defence.
  • ISO 9001 and an IATF process, stated right next to the services rather than on a separate quality page.
  • Environmental commitment: durable materials and controlled processes, given the same standing as precision.

02 · THE WORKSHOP

The numbers overlaid on the photo.

The two numbers that matter to a buyer, the headcount and the machine count, are overlaid directly on the workshop photo rather than tucked into a separate band. The text that follows dates the company, founded in 1962, and places Moutier as an industrial hub.

  • 20+ staff and 35 machines, overlaid directly on the workshop photo.
  • The same block in French and German, overlay included, with no second layout to maintain.
  • Traditional know-how and leading-edge technology, claimed together rather than against each other.

03 · CONTACT

A map, a form, not one extra click.

The page closes with the location map in Moutier, the contact details and a four-field form. Nothing to hunt for in a submenu: anyone who has read this far only has to write.

  • An integrated location map, centred on Moutier and the Bernese Jura.
  • A four-field form: name, email, phone, subject, plus a free-text message.
  • Direct contact details: phone and email, without going through the form.
